EVENT INFORMATION
Wednesday, December 5th 2018, leaders like you from around the world will convene in Lagos-Nigeria for an inspiring days of ideas, meaningful connection, and celebration as we work together to create a more conscious world and join a lifelong community of purpose-driven leaders.
Over 2500 Hive alums from 125 countries are excited to welcome you into our global network of CEOs, leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, social innovators, and change makers. We cannot wait to meet you — and for you to meet each other.
Below are some important information as you prepare for your Hive Global Leaders Program experience.

Where will the event be held?
The Hive Global Leaders Program will be held at a beautiful and very special BWC Hotel (1228B Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria).
Where Should I Stay?
- The Sun Heaven HOTEL, (Plot 8, Onikoyi Lane, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi-Lagos, Nigeria) . Rate(N25,000 per night)
- The BWC Hotel (1228B Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.) Rate N28,000 per night)
Rooms rate have been discounted mainly for Hive Members. Rates are includes of all taxes and a continental Breakfast.
Which nights should I book at the hotel?
Please check-in by Wednesday December 5th and checkout on Sunday December 9th. You can come early and stay late if you wish.
What is the closest airport?
The closest airport is Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS). You can get an Uber or taxify to the hotel venue.
Can Hive provide a visa invitation letter?
For those coming from outside of Nigeria, we can provide a visa invitation letter to any registered attendee.
Where and when does the program begin?
The Hive Global Leaders Program will officially begin at 4:00pm on Wednesday December 5th, 2018 with registration/participants meet up, first session would begin by 5:30pm and end with a dinner. We recommend ensuring your flight arrives in Lagos-Nigeria before 3:00pm to give yourself time to arrive and check-in.
What is the schedule for the program?
Wednesday December 5th – 4:30pm to 8:00pm (Opening session & Welcome dinner)
Thursday December 6th – 9:00am to 6:00pm (Day 1: The World)
Friday December 7th – 9:00am to 6:00pm (Day 2: Your Life)
Saturday December 8th – 9:00am to 4:00pm (Day 3: Your Leadership)
Meals
All meals are included in the cost. There will be lunch break each day for all delegates.
Each evening, you’ll be free to go out with other Hivers, go off on your own to explore Lagos, Nigeria for socializing.
Our weekend concludes on Saturday at 4:00pm with a graduation ceremony. We recommend booking any departing flight on Sunday to ensure you’re there for the completion of the program.
Can I bring a guest or friend?
We have just few spots left for this Hive program. If you wish to bring a partner, guest, colleague, or friend who is working on creating a better world, you may. Please have them register before November 15th, 2018 at www.hiveafrica.org/register . The price to attend is $380/N130, 000.

Can I do a part payment?
Yes, all Hive participants are allowed to make payment twice i.e. 50% deposit first to secure seat/spot and the balance latest 1st November.
Is lodging included in the price of a ticket?
No, the cost of lodging is not included in the price of a ticket. You must purchase your room separately at the link provided after registering. You can book your room Here
What should I wear? What will the weather be like?
Keep it very casual and relaxed and wear whatever is most comfortable for you. Bring clothing that allows for brief stretching and some light outdoor activities and dancing. There’s no need to bring any formal attire. The weather can be sunny and rainy sometimes.
How should I prepare myself for Hive?
We encourage you to bring your open, authentic and compassionate selves. It is worthwhile to reflect on what you’re most passionate about, what change you want to make in the world, and why you feel you’re alive on this planet. Please spend time in advance reflecting on the answers to these questions.

Can I come early and stay late?
